Appendicitis
Are there small and large intestines meet. It concludes with an appendix, a mesh appendages. Appendix is about 1 cm and 8 cm long, but it can be up to 20-25 cm long. Usually it hangs straight down from the cecum. It could also be behind the colon. Appendage wall is constructed as the intestinal wall. The cecum does not have any significant function in man. Appendicitis is an inflammation of the cecal worm-shaped appendage. The symptoms of acute appendicitis is abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes diarrhea. If you suspect that you have appendicitis must immediately contact a physician. It may happen that the inflammation goes out of itself, but it can not be determined in advance. Then the appendix is removed and you do that with a surgery.
